American software devs Niantic have launched it’s Local Business Recovery initiative, created to help small businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19. 1,000 small businesses have been selected from submissions originating in the US, UK, Mexico, Canada and Japan. The initiative will see these businesses appear in game as Pokestops or Gyms, encouraging some of Pokemon Go’s massive 576.7 million users to visit.
